PSA: Check your GPU power cable clearance before closing the side panel

Built my first SFF rig last Thursday in a Fractal Terra and nearly fried my 4070 because the power cable was jammed against the glass. The 180-degree adapter I bought off Amazon for $12 was too tall and bent the connector housing. Had to swap to a custom silicone cable set from CableMod that runs flat against the card. Anyone else had a tight fit issue with these smaller cases?

Sounds like the PC gods were testing your cable management skills. My buddy's 4080 in a Formd T1 looked like it was doing a yoga pose just to fit.

Honestly think people sleep on how much the PSU cables themselves dictate your layout choices. Got a Seasonic Focus in my NR200 and the stock cables were like stiff garden hoses, made cramming a 3080 in there a nightmare. Swapped to some cheap silicone cables from Amazon and suddenly the whole build breathed easier, GPU tucked in without fighting the 24-pin. The struggle is real but half the time it's the cables, not the card, that's the real villain.
