Didn't realize I was spending $45 a month on unused subscriptions till I actually checked

I finally sat down last Sunday and went through my bank statements for the past 3 months. I use a simple spreadsheet I made in Google Sheets, nothing fancy. Turns out I was paying for a music streaming service I stopped using back in March, a cloud storage plan I only needed for one project, and some app I don't even remember signing up for. That added up to about $45 a month, which is over $500 a year just gone. I cancelled all three in about 10 minutes. Now I set a reminder to check my subscriptions every 3 months on the first of the month. Has anyone else found random charges they missed for way longer than they'd like to admit?

Honestly, same thing happened to me last month. I found a gym membership I hadn't used since before the pandemic, like over two years just charging my card $30 a month. Felt so stupid when I saw it. Also had some random app that was $7 a month for a "premium" version I never opened once. Ngl, it feels kinda good to finally kill those charges though.

@the_zara Yeah but $720 over two years stings a little less than it used to, right? Not like you were gonna miss that cash anyway.
