The $9 night train beat my $180 flight across Spain and I'm done pretending otherwise
Two years ago I booked a Madrid to Barcelona flight for speed, last month I took the overnight Renfe sleeper for price, and I slept better on that moving bunk than I have in any hostel or budget hotel, so why does everyone keep pushing the cheap airlines when the train saves you a night's lodging?
