My 94 Civic died at a gas station in Tulsa last Thursday, but instead of swapping the whole alternator like every forum said, I pulled it apart and found one burnt brush, so I filed it down and now it's charging fine at 14.2 volts, anyone else tried reviving dead parts instead of throwing cash at new ones?
