Rant: I was yanking my HDMI cords out by the plug end for like a decade and one finally split
Pulled my PS5 out of the TV stand last Friday to move it to the other room and the picture just went black. Bent the connector on the HDMI and the little metal shell had cracked clean open. My buddy who does AV installs took one look and asked why I always grab the cord right behind the plug, says that is what does it. I have been doing that since like 2012 with every cable I own, never once touched the actual head. So what is the move here, do you all pull from the housing or is there some other trick I am missing?
