PSA: Don't mix mortar in a wheelbarrow you left out in the rain in Pittsburgh

My 3 bag batch from Tuesday turned into a gritty soup with chunks I had to pick out by hand, so now I keep the barrow upside down on two bricks and only mix what I need for the next hour, has anyone else ruined a pour this way?
