I used to eyeball every mortar mix until a guy on the Columbus job made me buy a $12 bucket scale
Spent 12 years just dumping sand and cement by feel and calling it good, but after Tom on the Columbus job handed me a cheap bucket scale and I weighed it out for one wall, my joints came out so much cleaner that I've been weighing every batch since, so how many of you are still mixing by feel out there?
