TIL my neighbor's sad little fern was a total glow-up story

Honestly, I saw it last spring looking all brown and crispy, but after she moved it to her bathroom for more humidity, it's now this huge, green monster. Anyone know if that trick works for a peace lily that's looking droopy?

Three weeks ago I moved my peace lily from a north window to the bathroom and it got even worse, not better. The leaves started yellowing and the tips went brown because it was too humid and not enough light. @cameron724 is right about the drama factor, but I think people overhype the bathroom humidity fix for these things. My neighbor’s fern perked up in her south-facing kitchen window with direct morning sun, not any bathroom.

Actually, peace lilies are DRAMATIC. They droop when they're thirsty, not to judge you.
