Can we talk about repotting my monstera at 2am like it was urgent

Used to just shove any plant into whatever random pot I had lying around. Didn't think about roots or drainage at all. Then my monstera started yellowing real bad after I put it in a fancy ceramic pot with no holes. That was 3 months ago. Now I check root binding before anything, drill extra holes in decorative pots, and set a reminder on my phone for every 18 months. Spent $40 on proper soil mix and perlite after killing 2 snake plants the same way. Has anyone else ruined a favorite plant from bad potting and switched to a whole routine?
