TIL parking enforcement in Tucson makes $60k a year walking 8 miles a shift
My cousin does it and he basically just walks around with a scanner, writes tickets, and listens to podcasts all day. He said the best part is people almost never argue because he just points at the sign and walks away. Anyone else know a gig that sounds boring but pays way better than it should?
Doubt it's that easy. Eight miles a shift in Tucson heat sounds rough, especially in summer when it's like 105 out. And I bet the pay isn't exactly 60k starting out, more like you gotta put in years before you hit that. People probably argue more than he lets on too, nobody likes getting a ticket.
