Spent $45 on a book club "kit" with discussion questions and half my group hated it
I run a small book club out of my garage in Toledo and we were stuck on picking books that everyone actually finished. So I paid $45 for one of those premade kits that comes with a reading guide and 20 discussion questions. Two people said the questions felt like a school worksheet and one guy literally refused to answer them. Now I'm out the money and we're back to just arguing about whatever we want. Has any group here paid for guides like this and actually gotten people to use them?
