Can we talk about how a $2 pack of sticky flags saved my book club from a 40 minute fight
Last month our club spent almost the whole meeting arguing about whether a certain character actually died in chapter 12, and nobody could find the page. So for this round I handed out a pack of those little sticky flags I grabbed at the drugstore for $2 and asked everyone to mark any confusing part as they read. Turns out three people had flagged the exact same paragraph, and we settled it in about 5 minutes instead of rehashing it. It also killed that awkward moment where the one guy who didn't finish tries to bluff his way through. Does anyone else have a cheap trick that keeps meetings from going off the rails?
