Unpopular take: skip the fancy flux-core wire for thin plate

Honestly, I watched two guys on a job in Tulsa burn through 14 gauge stainless trying to use 0.045 dual shield because that's what their buddy swore by. Tbh, for anything under 3/8, I've had way better luck with solid wire and straight CO2, has anyone else found the same or am I the only one avoiding the hype?

Nah, flux core has its place, but solid wire wins on thin stuff every time.
