Showerthought: I thought $22 sleeves were a scam until I saw my buddy's beat up copy of Catan
Three months ago I was at my local game store in Tacoma and dropped $22 on a pack of 100 sleeves for my copy of Wingspan, mostly because my wife gave me grief about the corners getting frayed, and I honestly felt dumb about it at the time. Then my buddy brought his unsleeved Catan over and the robber card was so bent you could read the back of it through the table, and now shuffling my own cards feels way nicer too. Is there a cheaper brand you all like, or do I just keep handing over a twenty whenever a new game shows up?
