Rant: I wasted 14 hours on Outer Banks season 3 before bailing

I kept waiting for the plot to pick up but it just kept dragging. My wife watched all 10 episodes and said the ending was a letdown too. That is 14 hours of my life I want back. Anyone got a show that actually pays off in the first 3 episodes?
