I was totally wrong about Season 2 of The Bear

I kept hearing people rave about it but after the first episode I almost quit. Then a friend begged me to stick around until episode 6 and that whole Fishes flashback scene changed my mind completely - now I get why everyone called it a masterpiece. Anyone else almost bail on a show before it clicked for them?

Dude same here. I almost dropped it after episode two but my roommate kept hyping up Fishes so I pushed through. Now I've rewatched the whole season like three times.

Fishes was the moment I went from "meh" to "okay fine I'll cancel my plans.
