Hit 700 episodes of the same show, my app thought I had a problem

I was scrolling my watch history last week and noticed I crossed 700 episodes of Stargate SG-1 across all my rewatches since 2018. My streaming app actually popped up a notification asking if I was okay, which felt both hilarious and personal. The wild part is I still find new background details in season 5 whenever I do a marathon with my buddy in Portland. Has anyone else hit a crazy episode count on a single series and gotten side eyed by their streaming service?

Think about it this way: we all have those little rituals that make us feel grounded, and rewatching the same show is basically a comfort blanket with a plot. I've seen the same thing with my cousin and his ancient reruns of MASH, he can quote every episode but still watches them while eating dinner. It's not about the count, it's about how that familiar world becomes a steady part of your week, and honestly the app judging you just proves it's paying attention.

Wondering if your cousin ever gets sick of the same MASH jokes, or does the familiar rhythm actually make the food taste better somehow?
