Serious question, has anyone else tried to fix a seized seatpost with a whole can of penetrating oil?

I used a full $12 can of PB Blaster on a steel frame before realizing the post was aluminum and had basically welded itself in. Anyone have a better method that doesn't involve a blowtorch?

You think a blowtorch is the only other option? Dry ice on the post and heat on the frame tube works way better, it breaks that bond without cooking your paint.
