I thought tire liners were a gimmick until I pulled 4 goatheads out of one in Albuquerque
My shop in Albuquerque sits right next to a trail full of goatheads, so I was fixing flats all day and figured liners would just be a pain to install for nothing. A regular named Marcus finally talked me into trying the Mr. Tuffy liners on my own commuter, and I went 7 months without a single flat on the same tires. Pulled the rear tube last week just to check and found 4 thorns stuck in the liner that never made it through. Anyone got a liner brand they trust more, or is Mr. Tuffy still the one?
