Tried a flat burr grinder at a cafe in Portland and now my V60 tastes wrong at home

I stopped by this spot on SE Division last week and their pour over was so clean and sweet I had to ask what they used, it was a flat burr grinder while I'm running a conical at home. Now I'm wondering if I need to switch grinders or just accept my cups will always be a little muddier, anyone else hit this wall and stayed with what they got?

Wow, that's a big jump from one cup at a cafe to rethinking your whole setup... Sounds like a good cup, but are you really gonna drop a few hundred bucks over one pour over? Maybe tweak your grind size or water temp first before you go down that rabbit hole.
