The $20 hand grinder I mocked for months is now my daily driver
I spent like 3 months rolling my eyes at my buddy's cheap ceramic burr grinder, figured it was just a toy. Last week I borrowed it when my electric grinder died mid-morning, and honestly, the grind consistency surprised me. I did a side by side pour over with the same beans, and the flavor was cleaner than I expected for the price. It takes about 90 seconds to grind 18 grams, which is slow but not terrible, and it's dead quiet. I still prefer my electric for big batches, but for a single cup, this thing is legit. Anyone else had a budget pick that outperformed their snobby expectations?
