Reminds me of a guy at a shop in Portland who pulled out a magnifying glass to check my grind while I stood there holding my mug like an idiot. He kept muttering about fines and channeling and I just nodded along. Turned out he was right too, my burr setting was way off. Still think about that grinder every time I make a bad cup.
