Went back to my old 2008 flip phone for a week and the battery thing shocked me
I found my old LG flip phone in a drawer in my apartment in Tucson three weeks ago and charged it up just to see if it still worked. It booted fine, so I popped my sim card in and used it as my main phone for seven days straight. The battery lasted five full days on one charge, while my current phone dies by 4pm if I look at it too long. I was texting way slower and taking zero photos, but I also wasn't charging it every single night like a zombie. The weird part is I kind of liked not having a browser in my pocket, even though maps were a pain. Has anyone else daily driven an old phone recently, and did the battery life mess with your head like it did mine?
