Bricked my e-reader following a guide, now I'm team 'read the comments first'
I tried to jailbreak my old Kobo Clara HD last month using a tutorial from 2017, and after 3 tries it turned into a brick that just shows a sad face. Someone in the comments said 'this firmware is 2 versions old, don't do it' but I skipped straight to step one. Do you guys always read the whole thread before messing with your gear, or do you just go for it like I did?
