Paid $250 for a 'pro' clipper sharpening service, got back a paperweight
Sent my favorite pair of clippers to a mail-in sharpening company that had great reviews on Google. They came back 3 weeks later with blades that felt like they were scraping, not cutting. Client actually flinched during a fade and I had to finish with my backup pair. Called the company, they said it was my fault for using them on thick hair. Never got a refund. I could have bought a new set for what I paid. Has anyone else been burned by these mail-in sharpening places or found one that actually works?
