Clipper blade gap took me 12 months to get right

Kept fighting with half-blended fades for over a year. Clients never complained but I knew it was off. Turned out my clipper blade gap was too tight on the lever closed setting. Spent a whole Sunday messing with the screw, tiny 1/16 turns at a time. Tested on my own arm hair before touching a head. Now I check the gap every Monday before the first cut. Has anyone else dialed in their blade gap and seen an instant difference in blend smoothness?

Man, same thing happened to me with a loose lever screw, once I got it set right my fades went from okay to clean in one day. That Monday morning gap check is smart, saves you from wrecking a whole head of hair before you catch it.
