My neighbor's 'just water them less' advice nearly killed all 12 of my tomato seedlings
Last month she swore the drooping leaves meant too much water, but after 3 days of skipping the watering can they were bone dry and curled up, so has anyone else been given the opposite of what the plant actually needed?

Tomato seedlings that dry out and curl up usually bounce back once you water them again. They are tough little plants. Three days without water is not going to kill them unless they were already sick or sitting in full sun all afternoon. I have forgotten whole trays for a week and still got most of them to pull through. Your neighbor gave bad advice for sure, but losing all 12 over it seems like a stretch. What were they planted in, tiny cells or something bigger?
