The week my phone autocorrected 'tacos' to 'taxes' and ruined 3 group chats

Last Tuesday I was planning a taco night with friends in Austin, and my phone kept switching it to taxes in every single message. One friend thought I was doing my returns, another asked for my accountant, and the third sent a confused emoji storm. It happened 4 times in a single hour, even after I retyped it. I finally turned off autocorrect for that app, but by then two people had RSVP'd to a fake tax party. Has anyone else had a phone glitch that snowballed into a full social disaster like this?
