Hot take: That $40 "smart" water bottle was a total waste
I bought one of those fancy water bottles that lights up to remind you to drink... thought it would help me stay hydrated at my desk job. After two weeks, the sensor stopped working and it just blinked randomly at 3 AM. I ended up tossing it in a drawer and going back to a plain $5 bottle from the grocery store. The app was buggy too, kept syncing wrong data like I drank 80 ounces in an hour. Has anyone else fallen for these gimmicky tech gadgets that just don't hold up?

...and like what were you even hoping for with the blinking at 3 AM? Was it trying to tell you to drink water in your sleep or what? I had a similar experience with one of those "smart" mugs that kept your coffee hot. It worked great for a week then started burning my hand randomly. The whole thing feels like they slap a sensor on something and call it innovation without testing if it actually works. Did you try contacting their customer support or did you just give up on it like I did with mine?
