Update: I spent 2 years blaming my old roommate for the sink always backing up
Turned out I was the one flushing coffee grounds down it the whole time, and the plumber in Bakersfield pulled out a clog the size of a softball, so now I want to know if anyone else has blamed a roommate for something that was 100% their own fault.
