Serious question, my old roommate texted me 'the trash is a shared task' after I moved out
I ran into my old roommate at a gas station in Reno two weeks ago and she goes 'you never took the trash out, that was a shared task.' I just stood there holding a coffee. That trash was her deal for 14 months because I did all the dishes and mopped every Sunday, and she never once touched the bathroom. I felt crazy for a second but then I looked it up in our old group chat and found 6 times she asked me to 'handle it this week' when it was her turn. Has anyone else had a former roommate rewrite the story after you stopped living together?

Honestly this sounds like a minor thing that got blown way out of proportion. A text about trash after you moved out is not worth the energy, some people just need to feel like they were right. You already found the receipts so just laugh it off and move on.
