That $40 bootleg 4K disc was a disaster but also the best night we had
Picked up a knockoff copy of some late 90s action flick at a flea market in Tacoma for 40 bucks. Looked great on the box. Popped it in and the audio was off by 2 seconds the whole time. Subtitles were in Portuguese. Halfway through the screen went green for 10 minutes. But me and the guys couldn't stop laughing. We started dubbing over every scene. Honestly better than any normal movie night we've had in months. Worth it for the chaos. Anybody else got a garbage copy that turned into a win?

That's how it goes sometimes, the worst piece of junk becomes the best memory. Cheap stuff forces you to make your own fun, which is something a perfect picture never does. Had a similar thing with a scratched DVD that skipped during the same fight scene every time, so we started yelling the missing lines ourselves. The flaws became part of the show, and now that's the only version we talk about.
