Showerthought: my cousin picked Birdemic over The Room and I still bring it up at Thanksgiving
Two Fridays ago my cousin had the pick for bad movie night and he went with Birdemic instead of The Room, which I had already rented from the library for $1.50. We got 20 minutes in and everyone was just bored, not laughing, because Birdemic is slow and the sound is straight up broken in spots. Around the 40 minute mark my buddy Dave said "this is bad bad, not fun bad" and we tapped out for clips on YouTube instead. Next time I'm just grabbing Troll 2 from the shelf, has anyone here had a pick flop that hard with a group?
