Buddy roasted me for watching The Room seriously, told me to treat it like a drinking game instead
He said 'you're missing the point, this is a comedy of errors not a drama' and now I point out every bad line and plot hole with friends, has anyone else had a movie ruined then saved by a friend's take?

...so my buddy Marcus was the same way with the movie Troll 2. He dragged me to this midnight showing and I'm sitting there thinking it's just a terrible horror flick, getting annoyed. But he leans over during that awful corn-on-the-cob line and whispers 'watch his face, he's trying so hard to be serious' and suddenly I saw the whole thing different. Now when we watch it we point out every bad wig and weird pause, and honestly it's more fun than a lot of good movies. Sometimes you just need someone to flip the switch and show you the joke you were missing.
