Rant: I waited 3 years to buy a $12 velcro cable sleeve kit and I'm mad I didn't do it at month one
My desk setup in the corner of my apartment in Boise has been a genuine fire hazard since 2022. I had a power strip, two monitors, a router, and a lamp all tangled into one giant knot of black cord that I could not even see through. I kept saying the zip tie kits were a scam and I'd just deal with it later, dumbest logic ever. Then a guy at the hardware store on State Street told me to spend the $12 on a roll of hook and loop ties instead of more zip ties, so I did. Took me about 20 minutes and now I can actually pull the router out without unplugging my monitor. Did the velcro route work for you or did you end up going with something like a tray under the desk?
