Found out zip ties make a huge mess over time, switched to velcro today
I was helping my brother move his TV setup out of his apartment in Portland last month and every single zip tie under his desk had snapped or gone brittle. We spent 20 minutes just cutting away dead plastic before we could even unplug anything. That sold me on making the switch, so today I pulled my own desk out and replaced all 30 something ties with a roll of velcro straps I got for 8 bucks. It took about an hour but now I can trace any cable without hunting for wire cutters. Has anyone else hit that point where you just rip it all out and start over?
