Serious question, has a loose cannon plug ever cost you a whole day on the line
Working the overnight shift at a hangar in Wichita last week, the landing gear control unit started throwing intermittent faults and I chased wiring for close to 6 hours. Turned out one cannon plug behind the panel was only hand tight, a few clicks loose, and a proper torque with the ratchet strap fixed it in 20 minutes. Now I check plug torque on every gear job before I even pull out the meter. Is there a quick way you all check for loose connectors without tearing half the panel apart?
