CPDLC logs saved my butt in Tulsa, and the new guy called it a waste of time
Last month a Boeing 737 came in with an intermittent satcom fault and the only reason I pinned it to a loose coax connector in 40 minutes was pulling the CPDLC message logs, which take 5 minutes to grab, yet the new hire says nobody reads those logs anymore, so I'm curious if other shops are actually dropping that step or if it's just mine.
