TIL that open transport beat enclosed by $400 when I moved my car from Denver to Phoenix
I got two quotes to ship my Civic from Denver to Phoenix, one for open transport at $650 and one enclosed at $1,050. I went with open since my car is a 2015 with 90k miles on it, and it arrived in 3 days with just some dust on the hood. The dispatcher texted me updates every morning too, which the enclosed company never offered. Has anyone here had a bad experience going open, or is enclosed really worth it for older cars?
