I finally stopped buying the dealer's $120 brake fluid flush, and my mechanic in Boise agrees it's mostly a cash grab
He checked my fluid at 60k miles with a $10 tester and it was still fine, so he just topped it off. Anyone else think the 2 year flush rule is pushed way harder than it needs to be?

Wait, there's a $10 tester that tells you if your fluid is actually bad? That blows my mind, I've just been handing over $120 every two years like a chump.
