Aftermarket sensors are costing us more time than they save
I've seen too many comebacks from cheap sensors failing within months! Just spend the extra on OEM and avoid the headache.

That line about "costing more time than they save" hits home... I see this with so many things now. Like buying a cheap tool for a home repair, only to have it break and make the job take twice as long. The upfront savings just aren't real.

Wait, you actually tried to use a cheap tool for a home repair? I learned that lesson the hard way with a drill that died halfway through a project. @jesseb20 is totally right about the setup time too, because then you have to go back to the store, pick a new one, and start all over. It's never just the money, it's the whole day gone. What were you even trying to fix?

You're right about upfront savings not being real. This applies to way more than just home repair tools. Cheap electronics break fast, so you save money but lose hours replacing and setting them up. That kind of false economy wastes your time and adds frustration. We get tricked because the low price grabs our attention first. It takes practice to remember that our own time has value too. Once you see it, you start making better choices about what you buy.
