Switched from trail riding to bog riding after my Polaris overheated 3 times last summer

That mud will kill a radiator faster than anything. A buddy of mine cooked his Sportsman 850 doing the same thing last fall, had to replace the whole fan assembly. Bog riding is fun but you gotta watch your temps, maybe throw a snorkel kit on next time before the next meltdown happens to be safe.

Yeah, "watch your temps" is the thing, but it's like people forget that everything has a breaking point when you push it too hard... I see this kind of thing everywhere, not just with machines. It's this whole "I'll deal with it later" mindset that gets people into trouble, whether it's on a trail or just daily life. You don't wait until the smoke is literally pouring out to do something about it, you know? A little bit of prevention, like a snorkel or even just stopping to hose off the mud, goes a million times further than scrambling to fix a melted mess.
