My snowmobile quit 9 miles out and a guy on a 1985 Polaris towed me home with a dog leash
Ngl last Saturday on the North Shore trail my belt blew and I had zero cell service, so I was sitting there in 12 degree cold feeling pretty dumb. This older guy rolls up on a beat up Polaris that looked older than me and asks if I got a strap, and when I said no he pulls out like a 6 foot dog leash from his pocket. We tied it to my ski loops and he dragged me 9 miles back to the lot doing maybe 15 mph the entire way. His dog rode the whole time in a milk crate bungeed to his rear rack, just staring at me like I was the biggest idiot alive. Has anyone else ever been saved by some random trail MacGyver, or am I the only one who owes a stranger a case of beer now?
