Tried two ways to keep my fridge from smelling like a gym sock and one was way better
I tried baking soda boxes and then a plain bowl of charcoal. The baking soda did almost nothing after about 10 days, and I could still smell old onions every time I opened the door. The charcoal, which cost $4 at a hardware store in Reno, killed the smell in 2 days and held up for almost 3 months. I put about a cup in a shallow dish on the middle shelf and just stirred it once a week. The difference was wild. Has anyone tried coffee grounds or something else that actually works longer than charcoal?
