My uncle told me my 'ask anything' questions were too vague to answer

He said, 'You ask 'how do I fix a car?' like it's one thing, but you need to ask about the specific noise or the exact year.' So now I start every question here with a specific detail, like my 2012 Civic's weird humming at 45 mph. Does that actually make it easier for people to help, or am I overthinking it now?

You know, my friend spent a week trying to diagnose a rattle in his truck. He finally posted "2004 F-150, rattle from the dash when I hit a bump." Someone instantly said to check the plastic cover under the steering column, and it was just a loose clip. That detail saved him so much time.

Oh the "weird humming at 45 mph" is perfect... now I'm just picturing your uncle trying to answer "how do I fix a car" and his brain short-circuiting. Like, does he start with the engine or just hand you a whole new car? Specifics are definitely better, but maybe don't go too far... next you'll be asking about the hum's favorite song and what it wants for its birthday.
