Update: spent 2 seasons ignoring pottery sherds on my Texas sites, now I bag every single one
A retired archaeologist at a conference in Austin told me plain brown ware is how you date a site when there's no fancy stuff, so now I bag every sherd and my lab table looks like a gravel pile, has anyone else switched their field method this late?
