Vent: Resurrected my dad's old IBM PC and it's starting a retro computing club in my town.
Watching people get hands-on with floppy disks instead of cloud storage feels like a win.

Found my family's old camcorder and a box of VHS tapes in the attic last month. Spent a whole afternoon trying to find a working VCR to play them, finally hooked it up to a tiny CRT TV. Watching those grainy home movies felt way more real than just clicking a digital file. Sure, it was a pain, but there's something about the physical struggle that makes the old tech feel more important.

That "win" with floppy disks seems backwards. Cloud storage is a HUGE step forward in keeping things safe and easy to get to.
