Shoutout to the guy at the Portland retro swap who made me eat my words about reflowing Game Gear caps
I swore for 3 years that a heat gun could never beat a soldering iron on those tiny 1990s Sega pads, then I watched him reflow a whole sound board in 90 seconds with a $40 hot air station at 340C and my recap job that had taken me 2 hours all weekend suddenly looked pretty silly, so what temp are you all running on those old single sided boards?
