Bought a $20 capacitor kit for my dead Atari 2600, and wow

Ngl my 2600 just showed a black screen two weeks ago and I almost tossed it. A guy on a retro Discord swore the three big caps near the power jack go bad, and $20 on a kit plus an hour with my iron got it running again. Anyone else fix a dead console with just a recap, or did I get lucky?
