Wasted $60 on a 'vintage' SCSI card that did nothing
Thought I was getting a deal on a rare SCSI adapter for my old Power Mac. Turned out it was a fake Chinese clone with bad chips. Lost $60 and three evenings trying to make it work. A guy on Reddit pointed out the PCB traces looked wrong. Now I only buy retro parts from known sellers with photos of the actual board. Anyone else get burned by fake vintage gear online?
